CEELO’s Tom Schultz was a co-presenter at this session in the 2014 NAEYC Professional Development Institute. The session included presentations by four states on the development of kindergarten entry assessments in their states. They discussed challenges, such as defining and assessing school readiness, using assessment information to adapt curricula to the needs of individual children, and relaying information for families.
